This event features several of Arizona’s finest Gourd artists as well as garlic vendors from the Verde Valley. Both Gourd and Garlic demonstrations are conducted during the Festival. The festival is located at the Camp Verde Community Center, 395 S. Main Street, Camp Verde, Arizona.

Bluegrass Festival

The Sharlot Hall Museum Folk Arts Fair was started in 1973 as a public celebration of old ways and entertainments. It is not a craft fair; no sales are allowed. It is a place where hundreds of community residents demonstrate the arts, skills, and entertainments of Arizona's Territorial and early Statehood years.
The Folk Arts Fair is fun and educational for the whole family. It includes sheep shearing; washing, carding, spinning and dyeing wool; woodcarving; weaving; pine-needle basket-making, and chair caning. Entertainment includes fiddlers, string bands, acoustic bands, and several types of folk dancing.

The George Phippen Retrospective

George Phippen mentored many of the current Cowboy Artists of America. His son, Darrell, has assembled a marvelous collection of Phippen’s paintings and bronzes. The George Phippen Retrospective will be exhibited at the Phippen Art Museum, 6 miles north of Prescott, from. The works contained in this exhibit are on loan from private collections throughout the United States to celebrate the Museum’s 20th Anniversary.

Camera Work: A Centennial Celebration

25th Annual Folk Music Festival

The second annual Founders Motorcycle Ride is sponsored by Bucky’s and Yavapai Casinos. The ride through the Red Rocks will raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Arizona. Funds will go toward the granting of wishes to children between 2 1/2 and18 who suffer from life-threatening medical conditions.
The poker run will leave Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson in Mayer, wind through the red rocks of Sedona, up to the historic mining town of Jerome, across Mingus Mountain through downtown Prescott, then up the mountain to Bucky’s Casino at the Prescott Resort, approximately 125 miles.
